July has been our month of service. We have organized several projects designed to help our church engage our community through acts of service. After July is over do the acts of service stop also? We see in matthew 5 that Jesus would have shine our light not only for good works but to glorify our Father in heaven. 

A lot has happened in the Ephesian church. Lives have been changed and the church is growing. The Apostle Paul knows this dramatic change is not their own doing. And if they are going to keep it up they need to be strengthed by God. As we continue in Ephesians 3 we see Paul’s prayer for the church is God’s desire for us today. 

We all love the Christmas season to varying degrees. Everyone has their favorite Christmas traditions and maybe even their favorite Christmas story in the Bible. One that gets overlooked many times is the genealogical record found in Matthew 1. Here we see that to be all in for Christmas is to be all in for the gospel. How we respond to the Christmas story is a direct reflection of how much weight we place on the gospel in our life. So, let’s go all in. 

At Harvest we believe a growing disciple of Jesus Christ worships Christ, walks with Christ, and works for Christ. Over the next three weeks we are going to unpack these three W’s. This Sunday we are looking in John 4 where Jesus himself tells us that God wants you to be a True Worshipper.
