Series: Let's Worship

Psalm 103:2 says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” Remembering who God is and what he has done is so important to the Christian because remembering stokes the fire of our hearts to worship God. 

Psalm 51 is the prayer of David after he is confronted with his sin. As we read and learn from his prayer of confession and repentance we find that we too, while grieving the sin in our life can find joy and freedom in God’s forgiveness.   

Psalm 1 and 2 compliment each other. In a way, they serve as an introduction to the book of Psalms as a whole. Psalms is more than a book of songs and prayers. It is instructive. We see that in these first two chapters as we learn how choosing godliness leads to worshipping the one true God. 

One of our 4 pillars at Harvest is “Unsahamed Adoration.” We want to lift high the name of Jesus in worship because he is worthy. In Psalm 122 we see that we have been given an invitation to worship the Lord. How are you going to answer that invitation?
