In Nepal, Seminary Is An Extreme Sport

Module I training has begun. It’s the first time we’ve ever had Biblical study materials completed, bound, and printed in the Nepali language. What a project!

Our curriculum:

• Bible Study Methods and Rules of Interpretation
• Old Testament Survey
• New Testament Survey
• Bible Doctrine Survey
• Personal and Corporate Spiritual Life

Ten of the 19 pastors arrived on time, plus our four pastors who have been certified to train.

They started on Monday and will go until we arrive – and then we will take them and others for the 2-day retreat. They have left their villages and towns to make the investment for 30 days. A few of the guys couldn’t make it because of washed out roads. One pastor’s son fell from a high cliff and is hospitalized. There is sickness, etc. . . . But getting 10 of the 19 there is a huge starting achievement, since they travel for up to five days by foot/bus/motorbike. Others will trickle in as the roads and conditions change. Vintage Mission is covering the cost of food, mattresses, pillows, travel, and gifts for the pastors and teachers. It’s awesome.
